Today, Joe built the Mater Arm. They also started to program the filter mission. The idea for Mater came from a previous mission build. It was used because there are a lot of things in a line. One restraint was the base size and how long we needed the arm to be. An idea we liked was they changed the rule about junk on the field and so we decided to dump the arm out and leave it on the field. The rack-and-pinion was also used to easily get around and activate obstacles.
